Safety and Community Guidelines

• Only list items you genuinely have and have the right to swap.
• Use clear photos of the actual item.
• Describe condition, faults, missing parts and wear honestly.
• Pause or remove a listing if it is no longer available.

Swapties is for ordinary swappable personal items. Do not list anything unlawful, dangerous, stolen, counterfeit or unsafe.

• Weapons, controlled drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit goods or illegal material.
• Hazardous items, unsafe electrical goods or anything recalled or banned.
• Adult sexual content or services.
• Animals, medicines, financial products, identity documents or security credentials.
• Anything you do not have permission to offer.

• Be clear, polite and realistic when making offers or counters.
• Do not harass, threaten, hate, pressure or manipulate other members.
• Do not spam members or try to move people into scams.
• Never ask for passwords, one-time codes, bank login details or identity documents.

Members choose their own meeting, collection or postage arrangements. Swapties does not physically supervise exchanges, verify items, insure parcels or handle payments.

• Use judgement before meeting or posting anything.
• Check the item and the agreed swap details before handing anything over.
• Avoid sharing unnecessary personal information.
• If something feels wrong, stop and use Block or Report.

Blocking a member helps stop new interaction between you and that member. Reporting sends context to Swapties moderation so it can be reviewed by an approved admin.

Swapties may restrict misuse in principle, but reports are not an emergency service and moderation cannot guarantee that every issue is prevented or resolved immediately.

Swapties is built around swapping things, not running a sales marketplace. Do not use it to advertise unrelated services, push outside payments or bypass the product's safety tools.
